Once my plants grow up and I flush the live fish I don't like (HAHA! Just kidding! Don't shoot!) I might get me a couple. About a pair of discuss is all I could fit in my 29 gal tall, right?

ROFL! Sorry, Dylandrewsdad. :p

One more though! I came home from the 6am class I teach to find Rosalie, my pink/purple cambodian female betta, in the cup with Emmett, the new dark blue mustard gas HMDTPK male betta! She must have snuck in the hole in the top (it's a Petco cup, so the hole isn't all that big, but apparently it was big enough). Emmett's cup was temporarily floating in the 55gal to keep him warm until I could get the 6gal FBH set up again for him (was going to put him in the 10gal and put Loki and Amun in the 5gal bowfront and 6gal FBH, but then realized how stupid that was). Oddly enough, there were no nipped or ripped fins. OH! And both of my girls have become very gravid since Emmett showed up "in" their tank. :p

AND, I got an adorable little male red tiger platy juvie last night at Petsmart. He's SO tiny! I need to get some nice female platies (or swords) so he won't bother my big sunset hi-fin female or the neon sword female too much when he gets older.

I sold some lady at the LFS some straight up Mickey Mouse Platys and a Mystery snail or two for her daughter's 10 gallon tank. They were really good looking specimens.

The sad part is I don't even work there. I was just in there buying some sinking shrimp pellets for my dead fishie.

@Ry-Did you ever get your filter issue taken care of?
Sadly, not yet. I've emailed Marineland back and forth a few times about what to do before I send it back, but college's been super busy this last week and I haven't had time to really clean the thing out yet. I should have some time this weekend, so its either get it working then or ship it to them Monday.

Yes, he's a mustard gas. He's a halfmoon doubletail plakat. Say that ten times fast! ROFL! He's so adorable! I would love to have some cool shrimp with him, but the only thing sold hereabouts are ghost shrimp (evil little things...they destroyed Edward's fins, which eventually led to his death).

LOL

I may have just stumbled across something revolutionary...
If you have a pond snail infestation, why buy loaches when your cories can do the work? just crush the snails up for them and cories will devour all the pond snails. its a good way to control pond snails in a planted tank. My panda cories liked their ponds snail today so much that they cleaned out the shell completely.
