Right so I put the sand in today. And..... so far so good. Still a little cloudy. I shut down the other nano and used all the sand that was in there. Also re-did the aquascape looks 100x better now, well at least to me, i'll post both pics, since i took pics of before the redo.

Umm... other than a crap load of work it seems to have worked out fine. The water parameters before adding the sand and stuff were good. 0 for everything. I got a few pieces that are just too damn big, I took a hammer and flathead to some of em but I dont know where I would want to break the other ones. :(

So I just put them down at the bottom til everything clears up. Yawwwwn... aight thats it for now, hopefully I wake up to a some what clear tank.

You're going to get problems with that aquascaping - you have rock up tp either of the sides, which means cleaning there will be a p.i.t.a. You need a couple inches clear around all visible edges.

There is a reason a central pillar is a good aquascape for tanks of this size, shape....

scraping with a scraper is bad news on acrylic even with a plastic scraper....you need to move the rock away from the sides enough to fit a small mag cleaner through that way when you look at your fish you can give it a quick swipe or two.....makes life much easier....

Hmm my post didnt go thru. The way I have re-done my scaping I figure that it should be ok. I have a really small magfloat i bought for the smaller nano, so im just gonna use that one. The new scaping allows for room. Thanks guys. Good lookin out. ;)

Hahaha yea I did, its just that I did it last night and those pics i posted were a few days old. I took care of the glass clearence issue, and added the sand. The water is clearing up fast. I should have a decent pic or two by tonight.

Yea so check this out, since my other tank had been cycled and doing good with a cuc, I had bought two frags for that tank. A green/orange/blue ricordia and zoa. I was going to put them in that tank the day that clown died but since the clown died I gave them to a friend for safe keep since he has had a tank up and running for a couple of years. So he calls me today and says he cant keep em, for whatever reason. Now I have two frags sitting on my desk at work!!!

My other tank isnt cycled yet! Its still a little cloudy from my aquascape expedition last night! The parameters are good, but I dont wanna risk these guys(they look amazing by the way).

u should have check the water para before putting livestock in your tank.

anyways whats done is done.

i would go back to my LFS and see if they can hold it for me. or find another friend that can hold them for you. but your best bet is to take it back to your LFS.

called around.... no one was willing to hold them. And my other tank was good to go for livestock. so i said a prayer for em and acclimated them and put them in. I didnt turn on the MH all day, kept both the white and blue LEDs running. All the polyps opened up so thats awesome. prolly gonna wait til tomorrow to turn on the bad boy. I got them under an overhang anyway. dont wanna shock em.

The reflection or the tank? ;) hahhaha, im kind of embarrassed, I didnt even notice that. Theres one where i didnt have my shirt on. hahaha.

Anyways thanks for the love everyone. I can say that today both of the corals have opened up even more, look amazing. The water in there is a week old, time for a change? Or should I hold off? The params are good.
