oo i was going to say that ram...but didnt know if that was correct -.-
also, i hear some people do high salinity dips on LR to get rid of any critter on the rock, then you can choose what you want to keep

PICTURES! :D

The pics dont do the LR justice, the rocks are completely covered in aragonite (darn dusty substrate crap!) so they look really white, and all the reds and greens are all covered :( . Ah well

Also, look at my powerhead and HOB, and suggestions placement to get max flow around all the peices of LR? Oh and any suggestions of ridding the LR of its little friend called dusty? :p

Tank looks bigger than a 5 gallon from pictures, looking good so far.

Your powerhead/filter setup looks ok, check for dead spots. If anything Id suggest the filter on one side with the powerhead blowing in slightly angled down and toward the middle pretty much like it is now.

Found a dead spot in the cave sorta area, so i moved the power head and i think ive solved the problem. and ryan according to jenness the tank is like 5.88 gallons or something...idk the box said it was a 5gal  but who said the extra .88gals were a bad thing? :p

whats the best way to check for dead spots? I have that same powerhead, its rated for a 30g+ tank though. I wasnt sure how far down in the water I could put it, so i just kept it so the opening where the wire goes into the motor was outside of the water, is that right or can i move it lower into the tank?

well its not like there was cyano growing where there was no current or anything, but i just looked when there were dust particles floating around in the tank, i looked in all the areas and found a few spots that were getting no movement, so i moved around the powerhead and fixed the spots that looked dead. and sorry but i really dont know if there is any full proof way to be sure...but i think i got all mine? lol
