I think I'm going to wait to get my CUC until there is more algae. Its just starting so there is quite a bit, but not really much (like helenas ! )

I got my CUC today for . . . FREE! well, almost free...
I was only charged for 2 hermits, yet my friend gave me 6 (I didnt ask for 6, he just threw them in there!)
they didnt have any snails in though, so i will keep checking in for those.
it feels so great to have movement in a tank again!

yeah he was and i think hes a Pacific cleaner shrimp aka skunk cleaner shrimp.
in the movie he looks more like a fire shrimp cuz of the red.

Either way, his name is staying the same Its kinda a joke with me and a few of my friends now, and we spell it Jaques. And yeah the real Jacques was a cleaner, not a coral banded.

Update!!
Jaques just finished his first succesful moult in my tank!! All claws in tact, and his whiskers got HUGE!
I leave the exoskeleton in the tank right?

Either way doesnt matter. If left in the skeleton will be eaten anyways.

Found a little thing in my tank today...Looks like a little anemone? Not sure if its apastia (sp?) but it retracts into the rock whenever something gets near it... I should try and get a pic...

Also, I got snails over the weekend, and now it looks like there are little round things all over the tank that look like they have a clear shell, with little white dots in them...Are these snail eggs? Suppose I could try and get a pic of those too, they are just so small...

does it have thick tentacles? if so, its probs aiptasia. Or does it look like what i have? (look in my 8gal journal). Im still not sure what i have for sure but its probs just a tube worm or something
