Here's an old one, ive fixed the off level problem so dont worry lol this is when it was first setup.

As for the making bigger school thing, i feel my schools are fine. I may just get a school of Zebra Danio's tommorow. I mean a HUGE one cause they are like 75cent a piece. So i may do like 8 or 10 danios

Yeah...I agree with the other posters...

This is what a 30"x12"x12" tank looks like[tank sitting next to it is a standard 10gal]:

If you got 30x12x18 tho it could be a 29gal...I'm not 100% sure that would be right with that proportion though...It really looks more like a 20gH...

Also, jewel cichlid is very pretty! Sorry he's incompatible tho. :( I've had fish like that...but if you take him back, it's for the best for you and your other fish[especially if you like them and hate finding fish remains]...

I normally would have said no, however I saw a pic of a tank with a sorority mixed in with at least one GBR and it seemed fine. The person (this was on another forum) also stated that they'd had no problems. However, they have them in a much larger tank (I believe they have a 75gal), so there is room for them to set up completely separate territories. That being said and the fact that plakats in general (from what I've noticed with mine) tend to be more aggressive than the longer-finned types, I would not do a female plakat and a ram in a 20gH.

Maybe we could get him to lay a yard stick in front and take a picture. If you measure the side against the front on the picture, its obvious something is amiss.

Guess that is what you people have been saying all along.(20gH) I have been following his stocking ideas and changes for over 5 months. He really doesn't want alot of the fish he just happens to get - like right now he is talking about getting a bunch of danios. He has always favorite cichlids. I don't know anything about them, but if he got rid of the fish he has now except for GBR, and Bumblebee cats, is there one other cichlid that would fit?

I agree with MK. I did read that some get away with feeding them algae wavers at first. Mine have done fine and I really enjoy watching them - I want to get a few more after I have my tanks a couple of more months. But, MK, would there be a problem with the Bumblecats and the Otos??

I think the only sure fire way to get that off is to scrub it off. :/
Good news is that mine hasn't come back yet after the one time I scrubbed it.
