Look what happened when the Cane Toad was introduced to sugar cane fields in Australia. They had no predators and multiplied exponentially , killing off most other species that shared the same diet. Now? They have to go out killing thousands of them to try and keep the pop. down. It was so bad that roads needed to be closed due to massive build ups of dead, decaying, and rotting frogs.

Also, other than just upsetting the ecosystem balance, introduced fish introduce diseases that arent naturally present. And if the introduced fish die, the disease does not necessarily die with them.

Hmm...

Some scientists once were doing comparative studies between humans and animals.

The closest they came was to a virus.

Humans and viruses both have populations that increase in expodential manners (Most other wildlife populations cycle based on the "boom/bust" model of food availability).

Humans and viruses both weaken or destory that which on which they live.

Are humans just a virus on the organism of Earth?

How's that food for thought?

I saw The Matrix too, Colesea. JK. But I know how true this is. We should be ashamed. There are some good organizations and programs out there to promote the well being of the natural world.
