Hmm...eventually if they do breed it could be a good way t help pay for the hobby. Many LFS want good quality tank raised fish.

I KNOW that was my original plan with the goldstrips --- Tank raised is always worth more.

I had a very smart coris wrasse bury underneath a LT plate coral. Needless to say the plate coral ate him up nicely.

Well its been forever now sense i got him so im going to say something killed it weither it be hunger or another fish i dont know but he's GONE..

I dont think plate corals can eat fish.

Think again. Small fish, big mouth, very sticky tentacles, feeds rather like an anemone. When you see fins sticking out of the mouth you know something bad went down. I didn't think anemone could eat hermit crabs, until I saw the legs sticking out of the mouth. Seems to have pulled him right out of the shell. Big anemone though.

Makes for interesting cocktail party conversation.

DSK i think you should fully strip your tank. pull every thing out and drain it. you have to be sure, plus i want to believe he is still out there, or in there. lol let me know how you go with it.

Hey Camaro, guys.

very long story, buy to cut it short, still have the pred tanks only, the heat just kills corals and the odd fish. i have opened my eyes to a new hobbie and have been into HERPS, no not herpies but reptiles.

i will do a post up on whats been going on, i have been real crook, had a shoulder op, and then with a over active thyroid so i have been of work for all of this year, blah blah, looking forward to catchin up with a few of the guys here, been a long time
