I noticed the male was sifting in the sand and I was like aaaa......ok. So I looked at the female and she was still holding. So I thought what could it hurt to see if there were babies. And....I got about 6 of them out of her. I cant count themright now its a bit hard but I did count 6!!!
I did my best to get pics but they are so little that its hard.

Not sure exactly what they are doing here...LOL

Thanks :D Yes I was thinking about doing it last night, for some reason I was thinking it was time. But I restrained myself cause I wasnt sure. This morning the Male was sifting in the sand and when I looked at the female she was still holding. I was like hmmm. I netted her but didnt pull her out of the tank. I opened her mouth and a ton of babies just came swimming out. I didnt realize that they were small enough to fit through the wholes in the net. Needless to say thats why I only have 6. :( But the 6 are fine and swimming around. *SUPERSMIL They are like the size of a grain of rice :p So Cute!!

Very nice, congratulations.
I like how their heads are pointed at the surface of the water in the one pic...somehow I pictured them bobbing up and down to "we are Siamese, if you please..." when I first saw the pic. Wasn't that 'jingle' from a movie or something?

BV ;)

I DONT GOT BABIES ANYMORE!!! :( :( :( :( :( :( I got some feeders yesterday and 4 of the shrimp had eggs, so I put them in my 12G with my fry. I was thinking they would have their eggs and Id have baby shrimp too; but, now I cant find any of my babies :( :( I thought ghost shrimp were veggie eaters and theyd nibble on dead things, not catch live fry. I know they were alive when I put the shrimp in there cause I counted them like 20 million times a day. But after the shrimp were in there a while I only found one. I just thought that they were hiding. Needless to say the shrimp are in my groupers belly now, eggs and all. :( :(
