In the winter yeah sometimes it gets very cold. But in the summer it's 35 celcius ! Montreal is 30 mn from the states.

Checked another place where it's 4 bucks for each scarlet hermit...the cheapest in montreal...but that's were i bought my polyps..with 3 aiptasia included. Speaking of aptaisia..they are now 6 in one week. Great. I killed one with lemon juice 'cause my joe's juice order is SLOWLY on the way.

Also my tank is almost 4 months old. Could that be diatoms changing colors ?

I use a turkey baster and most of the green stuff go away....they come back later. Except the little darker spots. It stopped the coraline expansion completely.

Have you tried jlaquatics.com. They are based in Vancouver and prices are very good. They ship quickly and have good shipping deals. You might find what you are looking for there.

Just a note: you cannot bring livestock across the border yourself. That's why the problem getting someone to ship up here.

Yes i just looked at jlaquatics.com yesterday and saw 1.49 $ / red leg hermit. Buy 100 and they're 1 bucks.
Still i'm going to check if there's others stores nearby ( less than 5000 km )

thats not too bad really...ive seen the big crabs for around $20 US in the LFS...online places are almost always cheaper than local market value
