I've been hearing all these rave reviews about "cichlids are so great and so cool." I don't really know what they look like other than a few pics in books, and I know how we all like to show off our fish, so this is my invite to you to show off as many pics as you can find of your cichlids. Tell us all why they are so great and convince us to convert an entire tank over to cichlids.

i love my gigantoid angel shes 5" long i know its a girl cause shes laid eggs befor i would have a new tank just for angels. but... no more room lol

That was a afra (the Mbuna). Got rid of him about a yearish ago when i took a break.

Tips for taking your pics. I got some nice compliments when I posted my pics. I have a nice nikon digital camera. The key (I found) to taking good pics of your fish, is set the camera to macro (the little picture of the rose: which means a close up shot) and wait for your fish to get close and try to snap the pic. They come out a lot better IMO.
