He's, only 6" or may a little more....still has a lot of growing to do (they get up to nearly a foot in length).

How big do they normally get? Cuz I know that guy wanting to sell his 39 gal. eclipse with the 6 cichlids, but I don't know how big they get. They're already like 3 inches!

Depends on what type of cichlid it is. They can range anywhere from 1" to about 3ft.
