Hmmm.
I looked at the neon dottybacks today, and didn't really like them....tempted to buy a damsel...but didnt.

got 3 more hermits..they're small....plunked them in the tank.

re-adjusted the powerhead...bought new food....etc etc.

gotta roadtrip it to oma-hole for some good LR next weekend...

gotta get more shells, b/c the biggun seems like he wants a new shell....i dunno though...he's 'calmed down' quite a bit...

we had really big hermits in rhode island. They get pretty big (like 6" or so)and from I've read they're def. not reef safe.

yeah, the big ugly hermit's gone once the LFS gets some bigger blue-legged ones in

this one's hideous...but does a good job.......

i dont know alot about mandarins and what not, but ive been told they need at least 50 gallons with plenty of rock

bah it's been a while.

so far, the tank's doing good....re-arranged the rock a bit. it's pretty much.....75-80% covered in coraline.....

Tons of featherdusters popping up in the big chunk of rock.....at least 8 of them..one of 'em is pretty huge, but hides a lot.

The damsel is digging tons of holes in the sand, changing the 'landscape' every day.......clown's doing great....that's all that is in there right now.

plus...some unidentifiable stuff.....sponges maybe...? growin on the rocks....some soft coral stuff showing up, but i don't think they'd last too long...my lighting isn't set up for corals, really......

Getting a new cam tomorrow, so i can put up some updated pictures...


I will be moving this tank into a 25 gal. setup within 2-3 weeks.....

Added 8 lbs of rock today, and....crap...found out after I plunked it in the tank, that it has a lot of bubble algae on it (at least, that's what I think it is....), scored a hitch-hiking hermit on the rock...along with some stupid white snail things.....

I got about 6 or 7 more hermits today.....

Getting ready to 'move' the tank into it's bigger home after I sell the cichlid...and get better lighting.

A few of the hermits I bougt today...you can see the bubble algae on the rock...grr.

This poor guy looks terrified of EVERYTHING...

This is the bully...that will be leaving me soon.

Any ideas on how to get rid of the bubble algae (If that is what it is..?)???
