i dont have a phosphate test kit but my nitrates are 0 .

all the metal hose clamps do not touch water . they are exposed to air only .

oh right sorry i just boght mine from hurricanefilters.com but it is the same one! very inexpensive

sorry ya same place its called the same thing did you get the 600 gph . ya its a great price but its not real thick plastic and can break crack easy ...

yea i got the same model as yours. havent had any problems with it at all so cant complain on my part. but yea i do wish i drilled my tank too i'm upgrading to a new tank soon and imm gonna make sure i drill it this time.... just bought a 150w MH for it too

how does it flow ? mine seems like i cant keep up with my Return pump .

how return pump you have ? I have a quiet one 300 and is throttle back 60 % to keep up with the overflow .

i dont know all about that throttlle back % stuff but im using a mag 5 for my return

i mean i have a bal vavle and it turned 60 % closed . or the tank will flood .
