So could I recommend to the people testing this system that they should set up at least one other control tank, 2 would be better. Have one with this system, one with a normal RUGF and no water changes, one set up more conventionally with regular, reasonable water changes. Then also have the exact same stocking in each. Heck, if you want to see the real power of water changes set up one with nothing but a few air stones for water movement and do DAILY 80%+ exchanges. Could even keep it sterile and teardown the tank biweekly. (I got money on that one doing the best if someone wants to try and take it
)
A few questions for the company.
1) How is this a new system? All of the components are existing technology. I see no difference between this and running a wet/dry, RUGF and a power filter. Heck! the above tank power filter has been used in Asia for decades. As has the RUGF. All of these systems require water changes and regular maintenance to function properly.
2) How does your system handle Phosphates, DOC's, Hormones and other disolved wastes?
3) What are the type of bacteria used in your supplement? Based on what I can gather about the recommended maintenance on your site I assume they are Heterotrophes? If so... Why take that risk?
I await your responses
. Also I think it would be fair for everyone if the conditions and guidline parameters were posted. All things considered I would LOVE to test out this system in an impartial manner but I don't think it would be good for buisness if you kept handing them out. If you are interested in me testing and posting my results as well please PM me a buisness e-mail I can contact you at so we can determine if there are any distributers (or even retailers) in my area with this system.
Thanks,
Chris
PS. Forgot to ask, would you be so kind as to post the MSDS sheets for Bio Magic, Vita Magic and Clean Magic for any interested parties?
