Heh, 50k words is the goal? That would be a good reason to try and start writing that book I've been thinking about.

Paige: IMO you should find someone who can carve and have them do a wood piece with a bear that would fit in your 10 gal.

Yep, 50,000 words. Not sure if you can still sign up, but the website is nanowrimo.org . Here's my author profile: BassBoneDiva | National Novel Writing Month

That is an AWESOME idea for the bear, aakaakaak! You rock! *BOUNCINGS Now I just have to find someone who carves...lol. My brothers could probably do it, but one is in Georgia and the other is not someplace where he'd have access to the stuff to do it. hmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

About the cactus carvers...there aren't cactus in the part of AZ where I live. lol

About NaNoWriMo...what do you mean if you do NaNoWriMo you lose rights to book publishing?
If you publish on the NaNoWriMo site you lose your "first printing" rights to them (since the first printing is on their site). Depending on how their contracting is written you could be losing ALL rights to publishing elsewhere.

When you breed different colored shrimp together, they revert back to their wild coloring (drab grey-brown).

@ aakaakaak-But you don't have to publish it on the NaNoWriMo site. The only thing you have to do is send them a copy to verify your word count at the end of the month.

@ OC-Yeah, found written instructions for that hood on the web right after I posted that and was too lazy to go change my post. lol
