So I'm slowly reducing my stock for the summer since this tank wont be maintained as much. Unfortunately my male keyhole cichlid got some kind of fungus on his right fin and has loss most of it... it seems to be improving, kinda in the hospital tank but I dont know if he'll make it.
I am thinking of loosing the tiger barbs and the gourami and getting angels. The tank is basically planted now with that left over java fern and some cutting from friends tanks... Ill post a pic soon for some updates on this all.

had to put down the keyhole in my avatar for some sort of virus that kept spreading on him... he lost a fin and was loosing another so I euthanized him at work.
Went to a store in PA and picked up three juvi keyholes and they are in the QT... they are super cute but also shy. I wanna put them in my tank after I find a home for my tiger barbs... Im also going to get rid of the yoyo and eventually the gourami... adding two BNs and later on some tetras...

update....
now have the stock that is in my signature... looking to add another 7-10 tetras.. neons prob... My two keyholes that I have left (lost two juvi's over the summer cause I wasnt there for months on end to keep up on stuff) have started breeding again... of course this is right after I added BN plecos which love keyhole eggs (i had the same problem 2 years ago).... next time they lay (hopefully) I will transfer teh eggs to my spare tank and try to raise them...

Ya MTS is time consuming, sorry for your losses. im actually glad i havent gotten my new tank yet (75g).its been on hold for a long time.until i know exactly what im doing , im not doing anything ! lol

naH iM GONNA GET SOME (9-11) NEONS SOON... BUT I DONT TRUST PETCO'S WITH OUT A QT WHICH I DONT HAVE SPACE TO SET UP RIGHT NOW... BUT THEY ARE ONLY A BUCK A PIECE RIGHT NOW....SO IDK... I NEED SOME MORE COLOR THO AND NEONS WOULD LOOK GREAT IN THERE...
