That would be a keyhole cichlid bassbonediva. They are native to the South Americas and one of the more peaceful and docile of the dwarf cichlids.

And yea I expected there to be more than one, so is said driftwoods lol.
I like how you unified them at a point so it seems like one big one tho.

Had a big tiger barb fight last night apparently.... my keyholes were too busy sleeping to break it up like usual... lost one and one is pretty torn up... the dead one always looked not so good but the one that is torn up looks even worse... added melafix, i expect a recovery.... hospital tank is currently being used already so no luck there...

at work (petco) we had a rate my tank contest. There were about 5 saltwater tanks and 5 freshwater tanks compete against each other. I couldnt enter since i work there but my friend entered my tank saying it was his and won second place. First and third went to saltwater tanks.

this was the pic he entered:

wow you changed it up a lot... liked your old layout more, only because it made the tank more "full" haha

I think it's great that youre able to make a FW tank look good enough to compete with SW reefs lol.

46 gallon reef.. current stock plus probably a few (4) chromis and a dwarf angel. The 20 gallon will be its sump, cause the stand restricts the size of the sump to about that.

I will first buy a water filter.. most likely when I get my tax return, before the 46 is even broken down. Then when its in its new place powerheads, sand and rocks go in for a cycle. then another 96 watt fixture for a total of 192 for just over 4wpg... I will add the chromis first to make sure it's safe for my other fish. Once the other fish go in to the main tank or 10 gallon quarantine the sump will be built with a HOB overflow.

should cost about 650 to do... hopefully...but will be more like 700.

its minimalistic. As long as I keep it clean, it looks fine.... my tigers love swimming in the open so why not give them that... but there is enough hiding spots in the wood for everyone.
