ATM i have a 10g tank with lighting and a filter i'll give u a pic after i clean it up tomorrow.

might have to change the light bulb.

im ordering a lot of the things online so its going to take a while for the powerheads and stuff to come in. i'll keep it posted if u people find this even a little bit interesting....

*First Update*

just your normal everyday standard 20"X10"X12" Tank

Filter is messed up dont even want to take a pic of it...might use it as a powerhead with some LR as filter...

just called fedex and they said its coming...one of the packages is going to be shipped on jan. 2nd....and the other one on jan. 3rd...and i wanted to get started by this year =(

going to get my 16g bowfront tank /w stand on the 2nd so its working petty well at the moment...hope that LFS doesnt go anywhere soon...(they said their moving downtown by the end of jan. $3 per LB of live rock *nano size too =)* so more surface area XD

btw anyone know where to get bio spira? i want to speed my cycling.

the 20 lbs of LS will help a lot and im going to stuff the big tank with about 30 lbs of live rock then later move about 10 lbs of it to my 10g tank.

*note to self more power heads -_-*

Looking good! The only thing I don't get is why did you order 5 types of food? I guess you had extra cash. I don't gett what size tank are you going for? Is it a 10G?? If it is then why?

Aquarium Systems Maxi Jet Power Head 230 GPH
Aquarium Systems Maxi Jet Power Head 295 GPH

I think having 2 powerheads in such a small tank will create a washing machine effect. They will take a lot of space in such a small tank. if you are going with corals. I think you will have a big problems cuz most beginner corals require medium flow but with the power heads you have they will blow the corals away. I have 2 X 160 power heads in a 20 but I can't put soft corals directly in front of them. I have moved the powerheads to the top. You should have gotten a little more powerful heater. And instead of getting testing strips you could have gotten liquid test kit instead of 5 types of food. Well I might be wrong maybe you might not have a problem. but thats what I think will happen. Anyways Keep us updated. These were only suggestions and experiences.

525 GPH so 52.5 turns per hour is moderate. conpared to the ocean this is nothing.

the 230 and the 295 is for my other tank which is around 16 gallons.

going to get the two 100s or one 100 and one 120.

and for the food i like variety XD and heard that some fishes are very picky...

oh and i have another hood for the 10g one (going to load it up with two 25 watts and hope to get some reef in it.)

one of the reasons y im making this tread is to get tips and somewat of a walkthrough since i dont know everything.

im starting with a 10g tank and if it goes well i can upgrade to a 28/46 or even a 55g tank later...

(wat suxs is that its taking me about 3 months to get everything together...but it took my uncle about 3 days...)
