the lights at the store were cheap bulbs..went home and woah...majestic creature..i can see the orange and purple.. didn't notice that with white sylvania fluorescents.
you are securing that rock, right? my biggest concern is a fatal avalanche--and 55 gallons or so on the floor

well the new rocks hold together. I checked i think it's ok. No epoxy.
Very porous rock that i bought, so very light. I have approx 84 pounds of rocks now on my 55. Doesn't look like that much, because i have a load of crappy, heavy base rock.
