Why dont you do some research about the fish you want instead of constantly asking people what you should get. It would probably be a lot easier.

LOL your so lucky to have these tanks to stock! seriously, stocking tanks is the hardest part i think about fish keeping. lol.

and just stare at the oscar tanks, make funny faces, and see who responds the best :)

and i would say do the bricardis, those are always neat

Lol Fuzz, stocking is my favorite part of getting a new tank:p I might go to a LFS today and i am wondering if some shell dwellers will go good with my angels in the 30G? I moved the 2 kribs and Killie into the 75G and Now its just the 2 angels. But i might just go and look around and see what they got.

And sphed, Look dude, our argument was in the past, so if you don't have anything nice or have a suggestion on fish for me, then don't waist my time reading your post, or anyone elses. And if you were wanting me to appologize for what i said in your thread, then i am sorry. Just please don't take my thread and get it locked up. Thanks!

Nik

nah im seriously flat out dumb when it comes to anything african cept diamonds :)
but just read some about the bricardies(sp?) and they are mean when breeding and make a colony sorta. i think that tank would have to be species only...or..i dk.
matt could probably say more.

With a male and female N. brichardi in a 30 it's going to be a species tank eventually, so save the time and start off that way if you go down that road.

Fuzz, they actually can make one heck of a colony. I had a single pair in a 29 that had at least 5 generations of around 50+ fish at one point in time with everyone living in 'relative' harmony. I would not put these with any fish under a 6' tank other than singletons in a community setup under normal conditions. Tough aint' the word.

Eh, pretty fish, and I can easily see setting aside a 29 for them, but something like a 55? Would make an interesting tank for a species only for a 3in fish. It takes a special person to love a species only brichardi tank as they pretty much lack the color that the majority of people like to see in fish. But I can dig what your saying. Like I said, IME, a 29 allowed for a good amount of growth for the colony. But the bigger the tank the bigger the colony. Any tankmates not big enough or willing to eat the brichardi will likely be bullied to death.
