Upgrading My SW Tank...Need Help/Advice

LOL Joe its not done. Those are before shots. The substrate is a mixture of Argonite and Live Sand.

I like the mix of colors. I have a mix of live sand and blue/black marine sand in my fuge.

With that rock layout where are you putting your powerheads? you want to make sure you get good flow between the stacks....and around them

The red boxes are where I was thinking of putting the Sieo Powerheads (one a 820 and the other is a 620) I also have another powerhead that will be used if my plan isnt enough. The teal circle is where the 2 outlet tubes are for the overflow (they put out 300 GPH alone). And ofcourse the arrows are showing the direction that I am going to point everything.

Might need one more in the bottom right corner blowing across the front. Maybe a little to the back.

Wow nice idea yea i agree you probably should get another PH I'd put it one the corner of the Lr on the right face across it so it'd get the front and everything

yes I would put one in the back right corner facing the front sort of center.....otherwise I think you will have a dead spot in the front right hand side. Say another seio 820 or so. Glad to hear the remora is working out..... I am going to convert mine to an insump model when I get my sump up and running.....

My puppy is named Molly ..... they must be about the same age.

The only thing with putting one where you guys are saying is that it is going to be completely visible and in a eye sore of a spot. Any ideas??

Well the move is complete! Pics as soon as things settle down a bit. We sorta let things flow but kept the same plan so its a bit different but I think that it looks nice.

Thanks And it is a bridge. The rock was a flat one and I looked at my husband and said, "hmmm. what about this one?" He grabbed it and looked for a minute....and thats the end of that story. LOL.
