Little update for everyone, tanks running awesome, i got a filter sock and its awesome, it just makes the water crystal clear, i like it. anyways, heres some pics, all SPS are doing great except for blue acro, just hasnt extended polyps since i got it, it just needs time i guess.

Alot of them didnt make, and werent looking good, i started dosing Vitamin C 2x a day, and the are fully opened.

Works pretty quickly with zoos, well have to wait and see with PE on the acro, but im pleased. I did some figures off another thread on RC and i figured about 500mg of a vitamin c pills in a bottle, dropped into the baffles of my sump to be absorbed quickly into the water.

Ah. I used the powdered stuff and mix it in top off. The pills probably work better because it releases it slowly, much like a kalk drip.

C-man, idk if its slower or not. The pill dissolves within 5-10 minutes, so i would think putting it in your ATO would be better, more constant.

Do you think there would be any bad affects if i just threw 1 in my main tank as i don't have a sump?.. Well i just threw 1 in, hopefully everything will be ok.. How often do you guys dose?

I use this as a starting point- 500 mg every 50 gallons, 2x a day, once in the morning, once in the eve

I threw a pill in lastnight and it took over an hr. to disolve (sp).. it wasn't getting any flow on it.. Ill probably just put 1 in a day 1000mg sounds like alot lol

ya. i got the specifics off of someone with a 110 system(90 disp, 20 sump) and put 2 1000 mg pills in everyday, and if he slowed it down his zoas would start having problems but his was heavily populated. I may start going down to one 500mg a day, dont wanna hurt anything. oh, and my blue acro has PE!
