I'm going to guess that it's not ich because I think ich is too small to see swimming around.

Wow, Sluder, your tank is...um...well...incompatible and overstocked, to say the least.

Anyway, I'm considering either odessa barbs or rummynose tetras for when I redo the 46gal (going to be swapping the 46gal and the 29gal).

Oh! And I can't find Indiana Jones, my ryukin goldfish. :(

WA WHO! (Said jumping up and down in envy) :)

Well my last Discus passed last night. I came home from soccer practice and as always the first thing I did was look at my tank. He was floating....... :( My oldest son (11) came over and gave me a hug and made sure I was OK. He said "Dad, it's OK, he was probably just old"

I checked the water and it was 0-0-10, PH a rock steady 7.4. The temp was a little high however......

So now I have to figure out what I am going to add to the tank, I am thinking of a large school of tetras. I like neons.....I will bring my wife to my LFS and see what she likes too.

I think I'd go with 8 instead of 10 if those are my choices. I'm not really sure though.

Again, sorry about your discuss.

So here are my mites. I think they're Copepods? Some form of zooplankton? Rock crawlies. If I'm super lucky they're daphnia?

Pics, they're the little white spots on the rocks. Not the chips, the white flecks. They move and interact. That's the best pic I could get.

Would some endlers or baby platys eat em up? Salt?

Unburied my UGJ again. Damn.
Any ideas on how to keep it down?
I think I may just add another half inch of sand so its less of an issue.
I know if I ever have to break this tank down again I'll be siliconing it to the bottom or the tank.

In good new though, my and my friend were able to go the leveling cardboard under my tank without any issues.

Guess what I found while changing water?

BABIES!...or tadpoles....or very small broken pencil leads...lol

I'm thinking Leopard Danio fry.

I wish cameras would work better on small things. I'm just not that skilled. There's three little black spots. Those are babies.
