Cool stuff, I got some new shell not long ago for a few of my hermits and a couple changed shells within the hour.

Well I think my shells are a little too big for the crabs. The big ones changed over night. The others seem to be pretty small for the shells. Well they might even change to the old ones. What kind of shells did you get. Do you have any before and after pics of the crabs. I like the ones I got them. I could even get them some white ones but liked these ones better. Will see what happens in the coming days.

I just grab what's available at the LFS they just give them to me when ever I need some, so I have a big variety. I have one like the ones you bought that actually had a snail in it but now has a hermit in it... this happened before I got extra shell!

Well, Ill give you my opinion as a Prizm user. These skimmers are a bit fiddly, need some adjustment to get the right flow/skimmate output but for the price and your tank Id just go for it, they arent as good on larger tanks but in a 20 itd be totally fine, I had mine on a 29 at one point and it did the job. 35 is a good deal, I thought I had a deal when I picked mine up for 100.

Seaclone, as many people can testify (on this site too) is junk... just simply doesnt do the job and can have leaks.

Well all the other skimmers cost from $120 to $250 which is way out of my range for a 20 gallon. Which one would you personally recommend which does not cost a leg or an arm.

Exactly!! thats what I am looking for too. I saw your thread but did not post anything cuz wanted someone else to reply and I could also benefit from it. I am getting a bonus from work soon. So all the extra money just bugs me. Can't wait to spend it.*BOUNCINGS *SUPERSMIL

nothing in that price range is going "clean the water like crazy," the old adage "you get what you pay for" is true with skimmers, my recommendation to you both is to skip the skimmer and just get a good amount of live rock, good water flow, frequent water changes, and a low bioload and you will be just fine

A little update.

Finally I got paid. I was out shopping at the LFS. I say a small carpet coral I wanted to get but the sales person said its not a good idea. So I did not but it was so cute and was perfect for my 20 gallon tank. Well anyways I got 2 Clowns they are still in the bag waiting to be acclimated. I will post some pics as soon I will get them in the tank. Hope fully by next week will get some zoos.

Ok here are the pics.

I don't know what's up. but the clowns are staying on the right side only and not eating. I bought Some Ocean Nutrition Formula one marin pellet thats what the sales person gave me at the LFS. I droped a few just a few minutes back they kinda came up but then due to the flow the food shot straight for the bottom and they did not even bother going after them. Can anyone refer a better food that they might prefer. I have some frozen brine shrimp could that work for today until I can buy what you guys will recommend. Please do reply.

Drip Method.

In the bag.

This is the side they are staying on and just going back and forth. Any ideas.

Just wanted a pair. I don't get the point in getting one. If they breed then thats great. Any ideas on what should I feed them. They seem to be very picky. I think there is a little too much water flow. they kinda get blown away when they come under the filter flow or powerhead flow.

mine did that at first untill he got stronger. i dont think its anything to worry about.

Well I think they are doing ok. Swimming around the whole tank. Will try to feed them with frozen brine shrimp tomorrow in the morning when they get more used to the new environment Will keep you guys updated as things progress. Had to do a regular water change but will do it tomorrow cuz of the clowns. Will give them some time to adjust.
