I agree with you,Kevin, about those lights. They might be 210 watts, but they sure do look quite yellow. What kind of bulbs are you using? You might consider trying to find some in the 10K-12K range, if you can. Otherwise the tank looks like its coming together quite well, keep up the good work *thumbsups

Thanks for the encouraging words. Really helps!!

As for the lighting I don't know in which K range it is but on the box it says 1600 Lumens. Any idea what it means? I am using regular compact fluorescent bulbs the spiral ones. This lighting is actually a temporary thing until I get money for PC lights from coral light. Will be adding live rock tomorrow if everything goes as planned. Again thanks to everyone.

Yeah most probably its 6500K cuz I also noticed that it was kind of yellowish. I will go and check Lowes tomorrow. Thanks. And WOW all your tanks have salt in them. Is it tough mixing salt all the time? I can’t seem to keep the temperature controlled. It is at about 81 F. It won’t go down. What is the recommended temp for reef tank? All site have different specifics. Some say 75 to 82. Some say 72 to 80 I don’t know what to do.

I will try to get it to 79 F. Actually I have been trying to get it down but the damn thing wont go. And I want it to be ready for the live rock. After I add the rock i just start checking for ammonia and nitrite right?

Can someone help me out. I Have checked everywhere and the prices of live rock are very high. Is there any place where i can get 20lbs of live rock with in a $120 range. please really need some suggestions about this. All the local shops are selling live rock as if it is made of gold. 7.99 per pound is too high for me! Help!
