My new Saltwater tank

Well you'd prefer it not to be, but it is possible for it too happen. However, the algae still needs a source of nutrients, which means you should be able to contorl algae growth indirectly. I would be surprised not to see a new setup go thro' a series of algae stages for the first 3 to 6 months tho'. Stocking quickly will not help.

Come on people we are here to offer helpfull info and suggestions, not put down each other! Everyone is entitled to their own opinions.. but that is all they are "YOUR opinions". Even if the recipient of them dose not want to follow them; that is his/her choice, but we should still try to be helpfull and polite about things and not get offencive towards each other and deter them from asking questions in the future...Can't we all just get along? lol sorry had to say that last bit.
