you're going to need an a lot bigger tank for any type of grouper.

a brittle star is good for cleaning out detritus. i've been told they're good for sifting sand too...but mine seems to like it high up in the rocks. weird little guy. also, stay away from the green ones. those eat fish.

All I'm going to say is a panther grouper will get awful big awful fast , and won't look like much when it's a foot or so plus.
I would try to get an alkalinity test kit and see if you need to buffer up , and maybe get your pH up a bit.
For 20 high's I like Centropyge argi, Cirrhilabris rubriventralis, banana wrasse and Stonigobiops gobies.

Everything is going great. I started my tank on the sixth with live rock on the seventh and now I am going to get the cleaner crew next tuesday probaly. Thats like a week and a half and I already have one large snail who is doing great. I might also bring home a skunk cleaner, who knows.

Its pretty stable. Well the base rock went in and its under at least an inch and a half so its stable and the upper parts are pretty stable. I plan on getting another rock on the right side to go under the curved one. The fish Im getting arent gonna knocked it over and Im not too worried but thanks for the heads up. If you have any good rock building ideas, tips then just reply
Thanks

some little ctitters may mess with it. I added snails to my tank and one went on a peice of tonga branch and it fell right off. Just be careful dont want 20 gallons of salt on your floor or a crushed fish lol, but if you say its stable...

I'd go with the epoxy... I think your setup now looks cool. I know I'd be more comfortable with the security of the epoxy, especially as you're just starting and the rock hasn't grown mad coralline yet.

Neat with epoxy is you can glue 2 or 3 pieces together, glue another group, and stack them and make it all a lot more stable.

More info...

Whats a good sponge filter brand and should I buy a visitherm stealth for the display and put the neptune in the QT
I'll probaly keep the QT running for over six months, because I plan on getting two ocellaris clownfish at the sametime with a cleaner shrimp, then a starfish and a royal gramma basselet. After you QT one fish for a month or so can you put him in the display tank and get another fish and put him in the same QT or do you need to clean it out(Not doing WC's but wash it out and start it up again)?
Thanks

Usually they come separate. I would assume all sponge filters are made in china nowadays and much the same. Good plan to QT everything.
I tihnk visitherm are pretty good, the ones we get in europe are.
