Wow you're doing great Kissyboots. This has been the best reading I've had in a long time. I could'nt stop reading once I started and never left the edge of my seat. The pics you've taken are great. Keep doing what your doing and you could supply the world with corys. hehehehe

Nicely done! What type of cories are they. Also how many have you sucessfully hacted?
They're peppered cories.

You mean hatched, right? :D I had two but both died, the shrimp ate one, and the other one flipped over and died. Then I got four more, two of which died. Now I have the two left that are over a month old, and now the batch of almost 30 born on March 1st. I haven't counted them yet. They're so small and last time I counted only 27. ???

Did you read this whole thread? Cuz I wrote everything in here, and "cory spawning habits" also has info. *twirlysmi

Also, am I correct in thinking that this tank doesn't have a heater? (I went back a few pages to look and the picture that I saw doesn't have one.) I doubt it'll help the floating four :)(), but I still say you should have one. Short of that, I'd monitor the temperature very closely. The thing about that is I'd expect the temperatures to vary most during the night, when I suspect you won't be monitoring the tank very closely.

Ugh. I'm trying to avoid getting a heater...The temp. hasn't been fluctuating very much lately, and it's getting warmer here too. (Phoenix, AZ, blah!) ...
Yeah, but you and I know that diurnal temperatures fluctuate most in the desert. ;) Besides, it's not like you're keeping them on your front porch. And, I doubt that y'all keep your home cooled/heated to 78 degrees F or so (maybe close, but ...). Sorry, Kissyboots, I really don't mean to harass; I just wanted to clarify my thinking.
