ok...i bought a yellow watchman goby today from petco (i shoulda gone to a real lfs)...i acclimated him for about an hour and 20 min....i'll post a pic tomorrow maybe

probably a good lesson learned...dont go to the petco for SW fish...and only buy stock that actually looks healthy, don't hope for recovery

i am never buying sw fish from petco again...this is sooo discouraging

but nonetheless, i guess i'll have to get another one and try it again

Sorry about your loss. I recently lost my Clown Trigger. Things happen that you cant help.

ocean floor has a very very small selection of fish, compared to other lfs's throughout the area....they have a great fw section though
i personally like aquatouch @32nd street and cactus...great selection of corals, fish, inverts, and LR

i am now drained of all funds, so it could be awhile before i get another YWG

i know i always go to the fish store and foget that i have a budget and have to pay rent and bills and stuff and i always spend way too much....but my corals are all soo pretty.. lol i need help, coral and SW fish users anonymous please....

Just bring a limited amount of cash. No credit cards or checkbooks. Then you do have a limit, and if you see soemthing rare, you could always put a down payment on it and come back for it...or not.

hah, yea well i do alot of shoping with my bosses credit card so it usually works out, but sometimes since i am there 1-2 times a week they let me take stuff home and pay for it next time....

i hope this one works out...im sure he will begin to eat while he is in qt...did you ask the lfs what they were feeding him? its always a good plan to ask to see a new purchase eat

the employee told me they feed the fish 6 times a day--i just missed the feeding time though...but i did get to see the anthias eating (it made me want to get one)...i was told the YWG eats flake, pellet, and frozen foods

he did eat a soggy pellet...it had been soaking for five minutes...its all a little discouraging...hmm
